Popular Cities in Colorado for Business Professionals

Colorado is home to a variety of different industries, some with historic roots and others just budding or breaking new ground.  This, along with our gorgeous Rocky Mountains and recreational opportunities, attract a huge range of people interested in a variety of real estate ventures every year.  With so many opportunities to find the right home and the right career path, people considering relocating to Colorado will benefit by looking into which industries flourish the most in their desired areas.

Boulder, Colorado - This is the perfect place for an original idea or startup company and is also the Front Range’s independent business headquarters.  Home to the area’s most unique food scene, tons of local boutique shops, and being the fitness capital of the nation; Boulder is a great place if these industries are of interest to you.

Denver, Colorado - The Mile High just got higher with the legalization of the medical and recreational marijuana industries.  Tourism in this area has already exploded with the opening of establishments similar to liquor stores, where anyone 21 and over can purchase the sticky-icky legally.  But don’t be fooled, this highly lucrative industry is attracting big name entrepreneurs as well as a wide variety of scientific research companies.  Also, being the area’s largest city, Denver is also home to artists, musicians, financiers, real estate gurus, educators, restaurateurs, and health professionals.

Colorado Springs, Colorado - One, two, three, four; military careers and more!  Colorado Springs is just 45 minutes south of Denver and is home to our area’s military forces.  With Fort Carson, Peterson Air Force Base, Schriever Air Force Base, United States Air Force Academy and the NORAD and Cheyenne Mountain Air Station, Colorado Springs is easily the best place in the Midwest for military careers.

Fort Collins/Loveland/Greeley, Colorado - NoCo, as the locals call it, is a great place if you love agriculture. With tons of farmland, cattle ranches, bison ranches, and horse properties, agriculture and farming have always been huge in this area and continues to grow to this day.

Centennial/Englewood/Cherry Creek/Parker, Colorado - The Denver Technology Center is located smack dab in the middle of these communities and is home to huge names in technology, business and financing.  Furthermore, these communities' convenient locations makes them ideal for commuters into Denver and other surrounding cities.

Aurora, Colorado - This area, which is just east of Downtown Denver, is considered healthcare central because of the Colorado University Hospital and the Children’s Hospital located at the Anschutz Medical Campus. Aurora is also home to the nation's first environmental collage called Eco-Tech, which is paving the way for more eco-centered industrial developments in the area.
