1. Seniors’ Resource Center (SRC)
Considered the “one-stop shop” for seniors in Evergreen, the SRC provides a wide variety of services that support older adults so they can remain in their homes and be a part of the local community. Programs include: in-home care, transportation, care management, adult day programs, mental health and well-being, chore services and volunteer services. There is also a program for those with developmental disabilities.
2. Mountain Resource Center
Named “Nonprofit of the Year” by the Evergreen Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mountain Resource Center provides an array of services, including financial coaching, workforce programs, volunteer programs, public assistance programs and more.
3. Lutheran Medical Center Senior Services
This multi-prong approach to treating and educating seniors with care and dignity demonstrates how Lutheran goes above and beyond for local seniors. The Senior Emergency Room was the first senior-specific service to open at Lutheran, but there is also a Senior Surgery Center and a Senior Behavioral Health program.
4. Jefferson Center for Mental Health Senior Services
With senior peer counseling, senior health coaching and individual, group and family coaching, the Jefferson Center for Mental Health addresses the unique needs of seniors to help them regain confidence, increase their ability to cope with everyday challenges and assist with maintaining health and independence.
5. Private Care
Evergreen offers a variety of options for those seeking in-home care, short-term rehabilitative care, respite, hospice, dementia care, assisted living residences or just senior community living.
