The OneNeighborhood Team is a brother-sister team. Erik and Laura grew up on Grissom Street where they knew every neighbor on their street. Whether it be celebrations, sharing meals, or evacuating from wildfires, the Neighbor- hood was always there for one another.
Erik went on to become a pilot, paramedic, firefighter, Realtor and a father. Erik's passion has always been people and adventure. Erik worked for the Seattle Fire Department and Windermere Real Estate simultaneously...and he loved it. Helping people buy and sell homes was a natural fit. And, his firefighting experience, which deepened his understanding of home construction, home safety, and how to work as a team to maximize results proved to be a huge asset.
Laura went on to become a river rafting guide, special education teacher, social service worker, and mother. Laura's passion has always been people and adventure too. She developed her abilities to navigate treacherous waters, while remaining calm, present, patient and compassionate.
In the early 2000's Erik and Laura teamed up to become a brother-sister salesforce with almost 200 real estate sales in Seattle in 8 years.
As they both started their own families and priorities changed, Erik and Laura chose to take a break from real estate in 2009. Then in 2016 they answered a strong call to move to Boulder with their families. Erik and Laura have quickly developed a deep and wide network within the Boulder Community.
Now, in 2019, they are once again joining forces to apply their inspiration, gifts, and skills to help people navigate the home buying and selling process with a new and unique approach.
OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
Having been in Emergency Services for 25 years, Erik noticed that many neighbors didn't really know each other and would only be drawn together to help one another in the face of crises. While supporting at Ground Zero in the after- math of the September 11th attacks, Erik began asking why do we wait for something tragic to connect or reconnect?
What could it look like to begin building deeper relationships without waiting for tragedy?
We believe united neighborhoods increase market value, enhance the buying and selling process, and result in people enjoying their homes and their lives more.
If this speaks to you, reach out and let's talk about how we use the home buying and selling process to add value and unite neighborhoods.
