RE/MAX Alliance Raises $85,000 for Children’s Hospital

The RE/MAX Alliance organization raised $85,000 through their two-annual golf tournaments in 2013 with 100% of the proceeds given to Children’s Hospital in Denver.

This year marked the 20th anniversary of the Annual RE/MAX Alliance Children’s Miracle Network Golf Tournament. The tournament, which was originally scheduled for September at the Inverness Golf Club in Englewood, was cancelled due to the severe Colorado rains. The event was rescheduled for October and all original sponsors, golfers, and dinner guests were in attendance. RE/MAX Alliance offices in Northern Colorado held their tournament, the 2nd consecutive event, in July at the Fort Collins Country Club.


“We are very pleased that our five Northern Colorado offices can supplement the metro Denver effort led by Kim Hawkins to host the second golf tournament to benefit Children's Miracle Network,” said Gene Vaughan, Broker/Owner for RE/MAX Alliance. “We have found that we have so many agents, customers, clients, and friends that have loved ones who have been treated by Children's Hospital. It's a cause we deeply support throughout RE/MAX Alliance. The many participants and vendors that are at the tournament, I believe, feel good about their involvement, because it's "the right thing" to do.”

These tournaments bring together agents, staff and community members, sponsors, clients, and Children’s Miracle Network supporters from all across Colorado for a fun filled day of golf and an evening of entertainment, delicious food and silent auctions. The focus of these tournaments is to showcase Children’s Miracle Network and through the organization how the hearts and lives of so many involved with the Children’s Miracle Network are touched. RE/MAX Alliance has been a strong supporter and sponsor of Children's Miracle Network since 1992 and annually donates nearly $120,000 to the organization through various company fund-raising programs and Realtor participation.

Children’s Miracle Network is the non-profit foundation that raises funds to provide over $4.3 billion (as of 2011) in charitable care to local Children’s Hospitals. RE/MAX, LLC has supported CMN for 20 years, raising over $115 million from associates’ donations and other events.
